I booked the role of Beth. She is a grocer that always felt good whenever a certain elderly man would come in the store. He talked to her about her life and encouraged her. I sing a eulogy at his funeral. This will end up being Voiceover only as another job prevented me from being on camera for this role. Very excited to see it come together.
I booked the role of 'Natalie' in an AFI Thesis Film called "Mermaids". Natalie is the Kindergarten Teacher of a little girl named Brooklyn. Brooklyn's Mother recently died and she is transitioning to live with her uncle in another city. Brooklyn has an incident in school, and her Uncle gets into a bit of trouble on her behalf.
Booked the role of Diamond in 'In The Ring" Series. I play the Young Mother of a teenage boxer. Who loves her son more than anything in the world, and believes that his boxing talent will take them out of the 'Hood. She is street smart, and has a quick tongue. But out of all the people around you Diamond is the one who will tell the truth, and stand by your side.
Shakespeare's Measure for Measure- Adaptation by Anne Brashier
Measure 4 Measure was such a fun experience. This was the first piece of interactive theater that I have worked on. Working with Anne and the other ladies in the play was a creative and collaborative process. We created and explored all of the characters together. We walked into the unknown with this play as it was set up as an experimental card game where the audience played the character Juliette. At the end of the game Juliette must decide if she will save herself, or the other characters in the play. Watching the audience make this choice was always so fun. It was a moment to realize people's true motivations as they walk through the world. Is someone totally selfless and not thinking of their own self interest? Or is someone methodically walking through life, of course taking in the needs of others, but really looking out for number one? Then having to be faced at looking at myself internally and asking myself what my own motivations are.
This play was truly a Fringe Experience. Literally doing the play outside in the park on benches. I can now say I have done it all. Small intimate settings to 4,000 seat theaters. I am so proud to be an artist and be able to do this with my life.
Dirty Laundry is a pilot I co-wrote with my team at Chrysalis Pictures. We just wrapped production this week. This was an amazing journey taking this production from a thought into its full fruition. We are on to a whole new adventure in post! What a joy being able to bring people into this pilot, and have them share in the vision of myself and my team. I am so grateful. I cannot wait to see this show on a network in the future.
Since September of 2016 I Co-founded a NonProfit Production Company Chrysalis Pictures. I am so proud of our success thus far with a full Series shot and in Post, A Brand new film festival, and a Pilot Presentation shot and getting ready to pitch to Amazon, Netflix, and Hulu.
The Moving Parts Festival is one branch of Chrysalis Pictures. This was an absolute dream to producer and to become a Founder of a Film Festival. Our first year created the opportunity for 25 Filmmakers to collaborate and create four original short films centered around social justice. The films represented the subjects of Women's Rights, LGBTQ, Prison Reform, and Immigration. Being apart of the creative process of this festival and the collaborations on each film was amazing. It gave me great pride to see these filmmakers realize their visions, and see their films on the big screen. I am so excited for the next MOVING PARTS FESTIVAL scheduled for August 2018. It's my goal to have it grow each and every year bringing more opportunities to showcase voices in the entertainment industry that are not heard from often and have important things to say.
I brought it back home to my Alma Matter UCLA with a write up in The Daily Bruin about the Moving Parts Festival and the Social Issues covered by the film festival. Click on the picture to read the article.
Finally! We have come this far to hear a table read of our pilot of Dirty Laundry. We have been working on this draft for the past year and I can't wait to bring it to life. Our shoot dates are late April to early May. Its gonna be magic! Let's make this happen!
I had the opportunity through my Production Company Chrysalis Pictures to found a Micro Short Film Festival. This is our first year and we are so excited to present Short Films based around Social Justice Issues. I look forward to growing this festival from year to year. I am very grateful for the experience and the opportunity. I am also very proud of the filmmakers that stepped up to join this challenge.
The Chrysalis Pictures Team is so very excited from all of the support we have received from our community. Thank you so much for your generosity to our project. We are stepping into preproduction and cannot wait to bring this pilot presentation to life.
The Chrysalis Pictures Team has finished the final draft of the pilot Dirty Laundry. We were so excited to read it through with the cast. It was a pleasure being a writer on this team, and hearing our jokes land with the actors playing the parts. We are preparing to launch our campaign on Kickstarter, and we cannot wait to get started on this pilot that we will pitch to networks. Stay Tuned.
So excited to announce I booked a Supporting role in the AFI Thesis Film Magic '85. I will be playing a Nurse named Betsy. MAGIC '85 is the story of a Gabriel, a closeted hospice worker that helps lead Trevor, a hemophiliac dying of AIDS , to a conscious death during the height of the AIDS epidemic in Los Angeles in 1985. In the days before Trevor's death with the help of Gabriel's plant medicines, together they confront the virus that looms so large over both their lives and that of Trevor's twelve year old son Andrey, who is at risk for contracting HIV every time he must inject himself with the same tainted blood product that infected his father.
I cannot wait to work with this director ANNIKA KURNICK. She is a powerhouse and I know she will continue to do great things.
What an honor to be mentioned yesterday in Stagescene LA for having worked on A Class Act with The Musical Theater Guild. Steven Stanley is amazing and a super supportive advocate for theater performers. Thank you.

I am so thankful to have the opportunity to repraise the role of Georgia Hayes in THE EXONERATED underthe direction of Cynthia Ettinger. This has been an amazing experience and an incredible opportunity to strecth creatively as an actress. During the run I was able to truly connect with subject matter that is close to my heart: Wrongful convictions and Incarceration in America. I was also able to participate in weekly talk backs with Government officials, Exonerees, Ploicy Makers, and the general public to inform people on propositions they will be voting on at the ballots this November. This work has been life changing; not only for myself, but for the people that heard the real words of the six Exonerees. I am humbled by their stories.

I am so grateful and excited to have them on my team! Let's Do This!
This was really exciting. This is the first series in which I individually wrote 12 Episodes and 12 Tutorials. I directed the series and assembled an incredible team of people for this project. This project is the first of an arsenal of projects being created by Chrysalis Pictures.
This project was a blast on set. The cast was incredible to work with and they shine in the footage. We are now in post production and I am so excited to be able to pitch this show for distribution and get it the audience it deserves.
Well I did it once again. Graduated from UCLA. The first time with a B.A in Musical Theater and now in a Professional On Camera Acting Program. This was an incredible experience and a great one year training program. I am so grateful I was able to spend a year honing my craft.
